Everyday I come across something that reminds me of our planned mission trip--my Spanish dictionary, a travel guide to the Yucatan Peninsula, or even watching Maranatha updates on 3ABN. "Where will You send us Lord?", I silently pray.
On Sunday, February 8th, Maranatha staff will depart for Mexico. Their objective is to review and approve sites that have been nominated for consideration of a Maranatha project. Their trip is an essential step in the process of our team receiving a site assignment.
In addition to Maranatha doing their work to facilitate our mission trip, we need to do ours. As you may recall, we submitted an initial deposit of $500 for our team. The next goal for us is to raise 10% of the $30,000 construction fund. As of January 24th, we were within about $150 of that goal! This 10% will solidify our commitment to Maranatha.
Please continue to pray for God's leading in the Hillside-O'Malley mission trip.
