Peñitas Church

Here is another view of the 'finished' church.  By finished, I mean that Team Northern Lights finished their portion of the building.  Our team put up the One-Day Church steel frame and then the block walls.  We also started to pour concrete sidewalks which was something we decided to do in addition to our scheduled work load.  Our main team finished one side of the sidewalk while George, Yves, Bev, and Ben stayed on after we left to finish pouring the remaining sidewalks.  Later the national team will install the window grates, apply stucco on the inside and outside of the block walls and finish with a coat of paint.  We hope to eventually have a photo of the completely finished church to share with you.

Behind the new church is the original wood structure used as their place of worship.  They will continue to use the wood structure for Sabbath school and other activities as needed.
